Principal & Choreographer:
Naomi started dancing at the age of 6 and continued to study dance until the age of 18 at a CRB School of Performing Arts. During that time she achieved many awards as a professional dancer, with TV and show appearances including becoming a professional cheerleader at the NEC (Reebok Jammers). Naomi is a fully qualified Dance Instructor and also holds a degree in Further Education and QTLS. Naomi has taught Dance & Performing Arts since the age of 18 at various schools and establishments, including experience within a special needs environment. Naomi provides teacher training to school teachers through PASS and is a qualified PE teacher with many years experience in Secondary and Primary schools in Wolverhampton.
Naomi is dedicated to Danceforce pupils and is keen to offer a high standard of training to our pupils to give them exciting and rewarding opportunities in dance.
Dance Teacher & Choreographer; HAYLEY EVANS
Hayley is currently the Head of Dance at Moreton Secondary School in Wolverhampton. She works there full time as a Dance Teacher and is responsible for BTEC & A Level courses. Hayley studied Dance at Wolverhampton University and gained a BA Hons in Dance Practice. She has attended Danceforce from a very young age and was also an active member of Hip Hop crew WDC for six years. Hayley is in charge of the Ballet, Contemporary and Inters classes at Danceforce. Hayley is the choreographer of the successful Hip Hop Crew Calamity and the Contemporary crew Nostalgic.
Drama Teacher: ZAK DEE
Zak is a highly motivated, charismatic and passionate young Actor/Director, who loves his art. Zak is an alumni of the National Youth Theatre and has experience performing internationally in addition to UK tours. He started Working with Dance Force in September 2014 and instantly felt the warmth and the family ethos within the company. Zak is here to help add to the great foundation Dance Force has built with the drama and glee classes and to make Acting Up Theatre School a place that shares the same values of GROWTH, TOGETHERNESS and most importantly FUN! Zak puts all of his industry experiences into the classes that he runs and works on all aspects of Acting & Musical Theatre, as well as trying to get across the crucial life skills young people can learn from performing arts in a safe and happy environment. Zak and the Acting Up teams goal is to INSPIRE every young person that walks through threw the door to believe that they can do ANYTHING they put their minds to.
Dance Teacher: LIAM PILSBURY
Liam is a popular teacher at DF, especially popular with the boys and a great role model. He runs the boys classes, boys crew and is now one of our UK Gymnastics coaches. Liam studied Sport & Leisure at Wolverhampton College and studied for his Teaching Assistant Level 2 course along with numerous sports courses and child development through Physical Education. Liam is currently working at a local special needs school as a teaching assistant. Liam’s favourite styles are Popping & Locking and freestyling and he is still an active member of the successful crew Digital.
Musical Theatre Coaches: FAYE CAMPBELL & KAYLEIGH CHILTON HILL
Faye was accepted into BOA in 2012 and was a full time student on the Musical theatre course. She is a valued member of DiGital and has attended Danceforce for over 10 years. Faye has an amazing vocal capacity and helps train the pupils in singing and vocal coaching. Over the years she has gained a lot of training and worked with industry professionals and can take these learned skills and apply them to her teaching here at Danceforce. As well as training at BOA Faye has taken an acting for screen course with Donnaleigh Bailey who was in BBC’s program Doctors. Faye has also spent ten weeks training with LVM, an adult theatre company who work with industry professionals, one of which being Danielle Tarento who produced titanic the musical, Dog fight and many more, with LVM Faye also performed in a semi-professional show in London last June, 2015 as the role of Mrs Barrymore in ‘The Hound of the Baskervilles’. Faye has had the pleasure of singing at events such as Birmingham Made me and Free Radio Live 2015, Sapperlot International Youth Theatre festival in Italy & Charity Events. Faye was crowned Miss Wolverhampton in 2016 and enjoys organising charity work for this cause.
Kayleigh has been with Danceforce since a young age and although she progressed at a high pace in Dance, she has always had an interest in Performing Arts and Drama. Kayleigh has previously danced in numerous shows and was a member of Digital. Kayleigh has just gained her Degree in Acting at The University of Birmingham and has set up a Theatre in Education company with her fellow graduates. Kayleigh is currently working as a teaching assistant during the week.
Dance Teacher: KIRSTY CLARKE
Kirsty is currently training with us to become a qualified teacher. She has many years experience dancing at Moreton School and with Calamity Crew. Kirsty works at Wolverhampton Active as a lifeguard and teaches for us on Saturdays & Tuesdays. Kirsty is teaching Acro, Ballet & Contemporary. She is also co-choreographer for Calamity Crew and is much loved by our little ballerinas.
Dance Teacher: SHOLA WISDOM
Shola is currently training to become a qualified teacher. She is a member of Digital and also choreographs for Reload Crew. She teaches street classes on a Saturday and supports crew choreography. Shola has danced with us for many years and her favourite styles are Bashment & Afro Beat.
Teaching Assistant: DEVON NELSON
Devon is a 6th form student at BOA (Birmingham Ormiston College) of Performing Arts. Devon started Musical Theatre at a younger age and only started dance at an older age at a local dance school, where he discovered his passion for this art. Devon has studied Ballet & Contemporary and has attended many workshops and training, including a leading contemporary group Motionhouse. Devon has recently gained a place at BIRD College.
